Our Love Story

Our story began with a simple mistake a wrong phone call that turned into constant conversations.

At that time, carefree lang ang life at walang clear direction. But everything slowly changed when we started talking. What began as something unexpected became something real.

When we finally met in Tacloban, pareho kaming kinakabahan, but it didn’t take long for us to feel comfortable with each other. From that day on, our connection kept growing.

In November 2013, Typhoon Yolanda hit our hometown. Nawalan kami ng communication and hindi namin alam kung safe pa ang isa’t isa. After three days, we finally found each other again. In that moment, we realized how much we truly meant to each other.

On January 1, 2014, we officially became a couple.

We built our relationship through simple everyday moments sabay kumain, magkwentuhan, manood, at suportahan ang isa’t isa. Along the way, dumaan din kami sa challenges, including time apart when we had to focus on our own paths. But even then, we stayed committed and always found our way back to each other.

We shared a dream of building a life in Australia. After years of effort, setbacks, and waiting—especially during the pandemic—we finally got the opportunity in 2022 and took the leap together.

By 2025, nakabuo kami ng stable life and continued to grow as partners.

That same year, during a trip back to the Philippines, I asked her to marry me in Atok, Baguio. She said yes.

Now, we look forward to the next chapter of our lives.

On August 8, 2026, we begin our journey as husband and wife.
